Nike set out to find bars around the country that have a strong presence in the skate community. As part of that effort . the brand released a colorway that pays tribute to Black Bar in Long Beach and Hollywood . California. The Black Bar x SB Zoom Dunk High Pro ‘Black’ features a black-based nubuck upper with perforations on the toe box and matching leather overlays on the mudguard . ankle . and eyestay. The high top also sports geometric patterns on the midfoot Swoosh and insole . and “Always Bet on Black” lettering behind the tongue as a nod to some of the bar’s patrons.
